Cookie policy
No cookies, no trackers. Here is exactly what your browser stores and why.
This page explains what MinuteTimer stores in your browser, what each consent choice controls and how to change your choice. For everything else about personal data, read the privacy policy.
Cookies
MinuteTimer does not set any cookies. It does not use analytics, advertising, social media widgets or other third-party services, so no third party places cookies through this site either.
What is stored in your browser
Instead of cookies, the site uses your browser’s own storage (local storage and session storage). This data stays on your device and is not sent to our server.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Kept until |
|---|---|---|---|
mt:consent:v1 | Necessary | Remembers your consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every page | 12 months, or until you clear your browser data |
mt:cd:v1:…, mt:sw:v1 | Necessary | The timer or stopwatch running in the current tab, so a reload does not lose it | The tab is closed (session storage) |
mt:prefs:v1 | Preferences | Your alarm sound, volume and classroom display style | You clear your browser data or withdraw consent |
mt:theme | Preferences | Light or dark theme chosen with the theme button | You clear your browser data or withdraw consent |
Your consent choices
- Necessary storage is always on, because the timers cannot restore themselves or remember your choice without it.
- Preferences are only stored if you accept them. If you reject them, your settings still work while the page is open but are forgotten afterwards.
- Analytics and Marketing are listed so that the choice is recorded in advance, but no such services are used on this site at the moment. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and nothing will load without your consent.
Change or withdraw your consent
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen your choices. Rejecting preferences also deletes the stored preference items. You can also delete everything this site has stored through your browser’s site data settings.
