Privacy policy
The timers work without an account, cookies or tracking.
This policy explains what data MinuteTimer handles when you use the site, why, and what choices you have.
No accounts, cookies, analytics or ads
You do not need an account to use the timers. The site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts, icons and sounds are served from this site or generated in your browser, so no third-party service receives your visit.
Settings stored in your browser
To make the timers easier to use, the site stores a few items in your own browser. They are not sent to our server. Preference items are only stored after you allow them in the consent banner; the full list is in the cookie policy.

Server logs
Like almost every website, the web server records technical request data: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the response code, the referring page and the browser user agent. These logs are used to operate and secure the site and are normally deleted after 10 days.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the site stores what you enter (your name and email address if you give them, the subject and the message) so we can read and answer it. The form also stores a one-way hashed version of your IP address to limit abuse. Messages are deleted automatically after 12 months, or earlier if you ask.
Legal basis
Server logs and abuse protection for the contact form are based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Contact messages are stored with your consent, which you give in the form. Preference storage in your browser is based on your consent in the banner.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to its use, to withdraw consent and to complain to a data protection authority. You can change your storage choices at any time with Cookie settings in the footer or clear them in your browser. To ask about, correct or delete a message you sent, use the contact form and choose the subject “Privacy request”.
Changes
We will update this policy if the way the site handles data changes, for example before adding any analytics service.
