Write for us

Share practical timing know-how that helps other people use a timer well.

MinuteTimer grows from what people actually do with a timer. If you use timers in a classroom, a kitchen, a workout or at work and have practical advice to share, we would like to hear from you.

What we are looking for

  • Practical timing guides, for example how a teacher uses short countdowns for transitions, or how to structure a study session.
  • Ideas for timer pages and features that would help you, such as a duration you often need.
  • Corrections to anything on the site that is wrong, unclear or out of date.

Editorial standards

  • Content must be original, written for people and based on real experience or reliable sources.
  • Claims about health, safety or research need a source we can check, such as a public health organization or a published study.
  • We edit contributions for clarity and accuracy and decide what is published. Published contributors are credited by the name they choose.

What we do not accept

  • Paid posts, sponsored links or link exchanges.
  • Articles written mainly to place links to other websites.
  • Text copied from elsewhere or generated without human review.
