The service
MinuteTimer offers free online countdown timers, a classroom timer and a stopwatch that run in your web browser. No account is needed. We may add, change or remove features and pages at any time.
Timing and alarms
The timers are provided as they are, without any guarantee of accuracy or availability. Browsers may slow down or pause pages in background tabs and on locked or sleeping devices, may block sound, and depend on your device clock. An alarm may therefore play late or not at all. Do not use MinuteTimer where a missed or late alarm could cause harm, for example for medication, safety-critical cooking, driving, or official competition timing. The disclaimer explains these limits in more detail.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its server.
- Do not use the contact form to send spam, advertising, malware or unlawful content.
- Do not copy the site as a whole or present it as your own.
Content and trademarks
The text, design and illustrations on this site belong to MinuteTimer unless stated otherwise. You may link to any page and share it. Names of other organizations mentioned on the site, such as Pomodoro®, belong to their owners.

Some pages link to other websites as sources. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MinuteTimer is not liable for losses caused by using or being unable to use the timers, including a late, missed or silent alarm. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
