How the visual timer works
The colored disc shows the time that is left. At the start it is a full circle; as the minutes pass, the colored part shrinks clockwise until nothing is left at zero. The digits underneath show the exact time for anyone who reads numbers.
Choose a preset or type your own time, pick red, green or blue, and press Start timer. Full screen makes the disc as large as your screen.
A visual timer for kids
Young children often cannot read a clock yet, but they can see a shape getting smaller. That makes a visual timer a simple way to show “how much longer” for everyday moments:
- Tidying up before dinner (5–10 minutes)
- Getting dressed or brushing teeth (2–5 minutes)
- Taking turns with a toy or game (1–3 minutes)
- The last stretch of screen time (10–15 minutes)

Can I change the color of the disc?
Yes. Choose red, green or blue under the disc. If you allow preferences, the site remembers your choice.
Can the visual timer run without sound?
Yes. Set Sound to Off; the disc and Time’s up message still show when the time is over.
Does it work with my screen locked?
A browser may suspend a page when your device locks or sleeps. The remaining time is recalculated when you return, but an alarm at the exact finish time is not guaranteed. Keep the page visible when hearing the alarm matters.
