Is this online timer free?
Yes. Every timer, the classroom timer and the stopwatch are free to use, with no account and no sign-up.
How long can the online timer run?
Any whole number of seconds from 1 second up to 24 hours. Enter hours, minutes and seconds, or pick one of the presets.
How do I set a custom time, such as 1 hour 15 minutes?
Type 01 in Hours, 15 in Minutes and 00 in Seconds, then press Start timer. Use the arrows next to each field to adjust one step at a time.
Does the timer keep counting in another tab?
Yes. The countdown is based on its finish time, so the display is correct when you come back. Browsers can delay sound in background tabs, so keep this tab open, and preferably visible, when the alarm matters.
Is MinuteTimer a timer app or a timer website?
It is an online timer website: there is nothing to download or install. Open the page in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer and press Start. You can bookmark the page for the length you use most.
